Good News from Hawaii a Club Bali Resort, Anyer.
In our
continuing efforts to improve our services, Hawaii a
Club Bali Resort have developed a new adventure trip to Curug Gendang; a
13 meter high waterfall located in Carita. In the Sundanese dialect, as its
named, curug means waterfall and gendang means drums named by the local
indigenous community, after the unique sound that the water makes when it falls
from this height – the sounds of rumbling drums.
The journey will take you through virgin rain forest
about 40 minutes away from the resort. Departing the hotel by 9 am, a
multi-lingual guide and private car will escort visitors to the entrance of the
waterfall. Once it gets to the entrance staging area, there is an uphill trek
that whilst only one kilometer, takes around 40 minutes for someone of average
fitness. The breath taking scenery once you arrived. The whole trip will take
for 4-6 hours, the package include lunch, snack, mineral water and the
waterfall makes the trek well worth whiles. The sweet, ice cold water is
perfect to cool off in and the stunning landscape makes for some great photos.
On the way back to the hotel, stop off at Carita Traditional Market for some retail
therapy and it’s the perfect end to the day.
Bookings are essential for this exceptional trip and can
be arranged via the resorts reservations office or at the reception desk. It is
available daily but must be prearranged at least one day in advance.
